Hi, I'm Sarah.
I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember (kindergarten, although I've heard some stories about preschool that makes me think so too). I am finally student teaching! I am getting so close. My student teaching consists of four terms. The first 3 terms (11-12 school year) I get to be with the same 4th grade classroom. Slowly my duties will be greater, and I will be teaching for a full week during term 3. At the beginning of the next school year (term 4) I will be doing my full time teaching. This will be in an early childhood class between K-2. Crossing my fingers for second grade, my favorite (at least right now).
Graduation is in a year and I couldn't be more excited.
My goal for this blog during my student teaching (ST) is to update once weekly. As well as share ideas that I have for the classroom. I can't wait until I can start posting my own classroom pictures :)
